I can hardly believe it, Money Saving Lords and Ladies! Tomorrow the book will be officially in stores. It has been an incredible 14 month journey that feels like it’s starting all over again. Here are five ways you can help the book launch in the next week.
NOW: Sign up for the Thunderclap
You have until tomorrow at noon. Simply link your social media accounts (look for the Red Support Button) and a mass message will be sent at noon tomorrow to each of your social networks and everyone else who has signed up. It gives me the chance to go viral or trend. Right now over a million eyes will see the post.
Request the Book for Your Library
Don’t have enough money to buy the book? Think someone else would benefit? Either go into your library or hit their website and request a copy for circulation. Easy.
Write a Review
When you finish reading the book, PLEASE go to Amazon, Barnes and Noble,ChristianBook.com, Family Christian, Target, Walmart, GoodReads, Google Books, iTunes – wherever the book is sold and write an honest review. This not only helps other consumers make their choice to purchase it but also brings more visibility on the vendor’s site. I’m aiming for 50 reviews this month and so far on Amazon I have about six. I am convinced we can do this. You can copy and paste your review and do this throughout the month.
Share Quotes From Slaying the Debt Dragon
There are a few ways to do this. You can share the quotes directly from the book’s site Slaying the Debt Dragon (scroll down until you see “Spread the Word” and use the auto sharing buttons). You can also take photos of passages that resound with you. Flipping through the book will reveal quotes the publisher thought were worth highlighting in pull-outs. Tag me @thequeenoffree and/or use the #SlayDebt hashtag so I can see them please. 🙂
Look for the Book in Stores
If you are in the store and see the book, do me a couple of favors. Face the book out so that the cover is visible on the shelf. Take a picture of yourself and again tag me and use the hashtag #SlayDebt. If the book is not stocked, request a copy from the manager. I also know others have pulled the website on the computers in store. You can call ahead and ask if they have the book in stock, too.
Two last ideas! If you follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, or Instagram, I’d love for you to like, share, RT, repin, anything you see float through from me. The more people like or share, the more people will see the message of the book. And then if you have one, tell your Pastor about the book or better yet, buy a copy as a gift.
