So it’s not Monday when I’m posting it, but I did have our meals planned yesterday. Our plan is slightly odd since we’ll be road tripping it this week and we’re trying to consume anything that might go bad. Monday:
Taco Pie
with Ground Turkey, Black Beans, Salsa, & Cheese
Topped with crunched up Taco Shells
Broccoli {yeah the combination sounds weird but it tasted good}

Grilled Chicken

Baked Sweet Potatoes
Grapes
Wednesday:
PBJ
Carrots & Fresh Mini Peppers

Lunch: Breakfast Burritos from the Freezer, Fruit, Sweet Potato Fries

Planning meals was definitely one of the biggest keys for success in our paying off over $127K in debt. It’s an easy step to make the most of what you have and keep you out of the drive thru. If craziness ensues {which often it does in the Queendom}, I’m not afraid to swap out a quicker meal on a different deal or even jumble around our side dishes. I just have peace of mind and am prepared to make any of the meals listed before the week begins. And that keeps us from overspending at the grocery store {or restaurant} and making the highest best use of what we have purchased.
