I love this picture that my friend Lady Ariel took. I think I love the fact that she titled the pic “yo feet” when she e-mailed it to me even more. That girl has the spark of life in her.
I’m sure you realize things have been a bit sparse around these parts in the past couple of weeks. And perhaps it’s because I’ve been looking at my feet in a manner of speaking.
We’ve been struggling with some chaos, confusion, and discouragement.
Not really revolving around our plight to slay debt. That’s still on track.
And not really involving anything I’m at liberty to share here in this forum (at least at this time).
Do know that everyone in the Royal Family is healthy, our marriage is solid, our children are safe, and our countenance still looks to the One who provides true freedom.
But if I seem distant, it’s because I’m a bit preoccupied with things I’d rather not be thinking about, doing, or even dealing with at the moment.
It won’t last forever.
Daily I’m seeking to pull my eyes up from my feet (even if I do wear cute shoes).
