The following is a QUICK 24 hour(ish) Give Away that I chose to do in conjunction with the Experimental Aviation Association (EAA). I received a flight experience for a Family Flight (2 adults, 2 children) to give to one lucky Money Saving Lord or Lady. This post was not edited or reviewed by the EAA or anyone else. Remember last summer when I went on a high flying adventure?
Well this summer, you get to do something similar but with your favorite prince or princess. While there will be no loops or G force fly aways, next Monday June 13th, one lucky reader will get to take a flight on another historic aircraft, this time thanks to the EAA and its Fly the Ford! tour.
Next Monday – Wednesday (June 13-16), this 1929 Ford Tri-Motor aircraft will be the centerpiece of a car and airplane show at the Greenwood Municipal Airport (did I mention the show was FREE?!). There will be all sorts of fun available, including special free photo ops and a classic car parade on Monday beginning at 1:30 PM from Logan’s at Greenwood Park Mall down County Line Road and ending at the airport. Chick-fil-A and West Coast Tacos will be on site providing food and it’s been rumored that the Chick-fil-A cow will be there, too!
As a part of the fun, you can take a public 15 minute flight on the historic airplane (which by the way was recently featured in the movie Public Enemies, all of you Johnny Depp fans!). It’s $60/passenger for a very special summer time experience. It would make a great birthday or good grade celebration for your future Lucky Lindy or Amelia.
But of course, it would be even better if it were FREE! So let’s do a little give away shall we? Here’s what’s on the line. You’ll receive a FREE Family public flight for 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) on Monday June 13th. You’ll need to be available and at the airport at ~1:30 PM so check your schedules now before you enter.
