Toot Your Own Horn Tuesday

Tips like these helped us pay off $127K in debt. You can read our story in Slaying the Debt Dragon: How One Family Conquered Their Money Monster and Found an Inspired Happily Ever After.

April 7, 2009 By Cherie Lowe

What were you favorite deals of the week?  I’m crushing on Target again.  I always like to check Marcy’s (from Stretching a Buck ) Target match ups before I go and I was glad I did this week.  I also printed Target coupons @ A Full Cup before going and ALWAYS love getting the Target coupon booklets in the mail.  I saved over $20 in coupons when I went.  I think I got the most joy from getting the Free Mini Artisan Bread loaves and Free Target Fruit Snacks!  The eldest princess knows I don’t pay money for fruit snacks, so she was happy, too.  🙂

*As a side note, this week you can get a $10 Target Gift Card if you purchase the DVDs Bedtime Stories and Tigger & Pooh (priced @ 17.99/movie).  You can print a $5/1 Bedtime Stories here which technically makes the movies $10.49 a piece after the coupon and gift card.  Not a bad deal if you have a gift to get for a birthday or Easter basket.  And don’t forget that you can run your first transaction @ Target to get the gift card and then use it on your 2nd transaction.

So what about you?  What are you tooting your horn about this Tuesday?

Thanks for mentioning my Target post. I appreciate it!

I went shopping tonight and scored Hershey’s Bliss chocolates at Target for 99 cents a bag among other things.

Kroger was good to me this week too. I got Ragu Pasta sauce for 98 cents each and Duncan Hines Cake Mix for 67 cents each. 🙂
