Bored this weekend or next? Hoping to have some fun with the kids? Head on over to Michael’s craft store for The Knack! The Knack is an art-centric website/club that Michael’s offers for parents and teachers encourage creativity in kids entrusted to their care. They also offer in store workshops for kids (ages 5-12). Coming up this month is a Science Fair Demo Powered by Elmers on Saturday April 11th from 1-3 PM AND a Spring Animals/Critters Creative Event on April 18th from 10 AM – 1 PM.
Of course we know that the best thing you can spend on your child is TIME. So take the time and go to one of these events or the Lowe’s Event I blogged on last week.
Thanks to Duchess Nicole for this tip! She could run a crafty event like the Knack blindfolded with one arm tied behind her back. But alas, alack she lives too far away so perhaps the eldest princess and I will venture out to the event on April 18 together in her honor.

Another free activity for kids, making Easter decorations at Bass Pro Shop this Friday (3-7), Saturday and Sunday (11-3).
Also for adults, GPS and Geocaching classes Saturday and Sunday (11-12) – you have to sign up for this because class size is limited.
