How do you spell hope? Even the eldest princess who is six would say, “Duh, H-O-P-E.” 🙂 Has it been hard for you to have hope during rough economic times? Have you felt overwhe lmed? We’ve been blessed with good financial times during the recession. 1 Part hard work, 2 parts frugality, and 150 parts Grace. I know many are suffering and without employ or less than what they’ve made in years past. But we’re trying to take a positive approach with the world, realizing that there are greater things than money and more we can trust in than the almighty dollar.
We’re big fans of Dave Ramsey here in the Queendom and as a part of the FREE event Town Hall for Hope that’s on April 23rd at thousands of locations nationwide , the folks who work for Dave have been asking people to define hope in five words or less. Since we’re in the Easter season (the best time of the year to have hope), I thought I’d try out the exercise myself.
Hope is . . . Knowing Life Is More Than Things. Crap, that’s 6. Realizing Life Is More Than What’s Seen. Now I’m at 7. Not Being Owned By Stuff. Awww yeah, right on the money. Five Words.
What about you? What do you do to define hope or how do you define it in five words or less. Watch this video today for some inspiration!
