I actually stayed up until midnight and was filled with delight when I read the following on Twitter last night: …congratulations to @thequeenoffree who will be joining us at #Blissdom! It was a crazy long week and SO many of you have been wonderfully encouraging and helpful. Thank you for risking your friendships by annoying strong arming inviting your friends to vote. I know many of you obsessively checked the Inexpensively page as much as I did.
Now the fun begins! I need to do tidying up on QoF – finalizing the remodel. I need to figure out where I’m going to stay. I need to figure out some technology challenges I have in order to fully participate (let’s just say the battery on my laptop is kaputsky AND my phone is very 2.0 with no internet plan so I need to wrap my head around being able to Twitter and Facebook throughout the conference). And with Blissdom comes the whole “What are you wearing?” question. Now, I am no fashionista, people. I’m most comfortable in my jeans and Wonder Woman t-shirt. So figuring out a style that is me and practical for my every day life will be fun. And oh yeah, I plan on not spending any money so I’ll be digging through my own closet. There will be small people arrangements to make, meals to freeze, and maps to print. I need new business cards. And then packing. Fun stuff but I’m going to be hopping!
