Well hello there Money Saving Lords and Ladies. I’m so glad you’ve come this way to sniff around and see if I’m still alive and kicking. Yes, indeed I am. Saddest of all news this week for a frugal finding and sharing gal like me . . . my laptop died . . . again. The week before Black Friday. Seriously?
The hard drive crashed and appears all is lost – BOO!
The Mac Genius told me it was only the 2nd time he’d ever seen it in my particular laptop. My mom always told me I was 1 in a million but COME ON PEOPLE.
It’s still under warranty – YEAH!
I have some things backed up to the cloud – YEAH!
I don’t remember the last time I backed it up – BOO!
What’s that you say? Didn’t this just happen to you this summer? Why, yes, yes it did. It’s exactly why I purchased a new computer. The good news is that things should be back up and operational in 5-7 days so I should be able to pump out a few posts between now and then using Princess Eldest’s netbook.
This thing is made for teeeeeeeenie hands, y’all. Seriously, I am a decent typist and I’m constantly clicking on things in error. Yet again BOO.
So I’ll keep doing my best to roll some deals and freebies your way, along with frugal living tips and debt slaying ideas. But it’s also a great time to read some of the content flowing over at King of Free {he’s working on a detailed series with 101 ways that we paid off $127K in debt} AND dig through some old Frugal Living Tips here.
I want to say a special hello and thank you for your hospitality to my friends from Rocklane Christian Church’s MOPS. I had such a fabulous time sharing our story and hearing your tips this morning. I hope you’ll stick around and we can be friends. 🙂
Here are a few of the shopping “tools” I mentioned this morning:
Random other side notes: I’ve got a couple of magazine articles a cooking right now with major media outlets {WOOHOO}. And today you can catch me on Wise Bread sharing a favorite Black Friday tip. And spoiler alert: I’ll be sharing plenty of my favorite Black Friday tips this Sunday AM on WTHR Weekend Sunrise at 7:45 AM.
In conclusion, I’m still standing and hope to get things back to “normal” in the Queendom soon!
