So I’m totally crushing on Shopkick right now – a FREE rewards based app where basically you get “kicks” {think reward points} for merely walking into a store. You can then use these “kicks” to get gift cards from a number of retailers.
What’s that you say, you don’t have a smart phone or smart phone service? Neither do I. I actually have an old iPhone that doesn’t have phone service but operates on WiFi so if you have something similar {an iPod would work, too}, you can take advantage of this app. Most stores have WiFi so if you log in while in the store {using their WiFi}, you can get kicks.
Daily there are a number of “Instant Kicks” that you can get by looking through “look books” {think catalogs for your phone}. Look for the “books” that have a blue star in the corner.
You can also get great coupons through the app. Last week, I scored a $2 Target Coupon merely for walking in the store and I know there’s a B1G1 Latte Starbucks coupon in the Target tab {must be used in Target stores}. And when there’s a Macy’s Shopping Pass, it’s always in the phone, right there ready for you to use. 🙂 And when you refer other people, you get more kicks, too {yep that’s my referral link}.
As few as 500 kicks gets you a $2 Target Gift Card {and I got 600 just walking around the mall last night}. I’m banking my kicks {I have 4000 right now which is close to $20 worth of Target Gift Cards} for Christmas shopping!
