Now, we are a b’feeding family for so many reasons (one of the chief being that I am CHEAP – I think you may already have that in your head); however, from time to time I will go ahead and order a formula sample. I like to keep them on hand in case there’s an emergency (I have a car wreck, get hospitalized or something else terrible), or to give as shower gifts for formula feeding mamas, or to donate to local Crisis Pregnacny/Care Net sort of centers who ALWAYS need things like that, or you could always give them to mamas of multiples, right Lady Mindy? So it might be a good freebie to get and then give even if you don’t have babies crawling around your ankles like Lady Mindy or me.

I hoarded a ton of sample formula FOREVER just in case I caught a deadly illness or was rendered un-nursable for some other reason. And I STILL have a freezerful of breastmilk (I pump & he takes bottled breastmilk while I’m at work, but I’ll admit that the amount of surplus I have is a tad bit ridiculous).
