Whew, the eldest does not have strep. Hopefully we can contain the sore throat just to her and I am really praying it will clear enough for me to feel like it’s ok for her to play basketball in the AM and go to the nursing home to cheer some folks on Valentine’s Day. We’ll see! Tonight, we’re having our very own little Valentine’s Day party since she had to miss the school one today. It was actually a Friendship Party since apparently we can’t celebrate St. Valentine @ school. I digress (I could digress more but whatever). Here are some freebies just for you today!

If you have an IKEA nearby, they’re offering breakfast this weekend. Go here for more details – offer NOT good in Houston, Hicksville, and Pittsburgh or @ IKEA Direct. IKEA does this on a fairly regular basis so if you’re planning a trip anytime soon it might be worth the effort to investigate if free breakfast meshes with your furniture shopping. I have yet to go to an IKEA, half out of laziness half out of fear that I will develop an addiction. I’ve heard such good things!

We rented Madagascar 2 from redbox(new at Sullivan Wal-Mart) with the coupon code BREAKROOM(making it FREE). It happened to be the night the power was out til 11. My laptop was all charged up thankfully, so the kids gathered around. Turned out great.
