Good morning Lords and Ladies!  What an awesome weekend.  We had such a fun time as a family this weekend.  Friday, the girls and I had a fantastic time with the Queen Mum and then roamed back home to make a trip to the library and enjoy a community band concert (with a FREE dinner included) at the Greenwood Freedom Festival.  Saturday AM, we started our day bright and early and headed downtown to LePeep where we split yummy granola pancakes, the Californian Egg White Omelet (sooo good!), the girls had pancakes, fruit, and toast.  I have to tell you that after not eating out all month long it tasted SO much better to eat out.  We all enjoyed every minute of it.  We then packed it over to PBS Kids in the Park.  While the Princess will be posting with pictures and a complete update on the trip later this week, let me give you a quick recap.  We enjoyed the parade of characters, got in line to visit Rosita (our pick for the youngest priness) and Word Girl (the Eldest Princess’ pick), visited some vendors and picked up some free items, took a picture with the Oscar Mayer Weiner Mobile (and got a weiner whistle woot woot), and then headed home.  I even ran into fellow blogger Lady Michelle and was bummed that I missed Lady Jen and her tribe of four 2 year old boys.  It was the perfect amount of time!  After a quick trip to Aldi, we came home and had a little bit of lunch and then ALL crashed.  I don’t think any of us is used to being in the sun that much.  We had a special Fourth of July Party that night with some dear friends to watch the Greenwood Freedom Festival Fireworks.  Sunday was filled with family time, a trip to a local Orchard where there’s a petting zoo, and volunteering with our Student Ministry at our church.  AWESOME weekend.  After some mandatory household chores this AM, I’m ready to blog it up today and fill your day with freebie goodness, frugal ideas, and general amusement.  Here’s what we’re eating this week in the Queendom.

Monday:  Grilled Shrimp
                Spinach Salad with
                Red/Yellow Pepper, Cheese,
                Carrots, Tomatoes,
                Cucumber, Mushroom, Boiled Egg
                Triscuits

Tuesday: Taco Pizza
                Crust Recipe here
                Topped with Ground Turkey
                Black Beans, Mexican Cheese
                Romaine Lettuce
                Salsa and/or Light Sour Cream

Wednesday: Flounder Filets topped with Salsa
                    Black Beans
                    Quinoa
Fruit Salad with Mango, Strawberries, and Blueberries

Thursday: I’m chaperoning a Middle School Student Ministries trip to Kings Island (how royal!), so the kiddos will be with the Queen Mum and the King will eat Tuna with Avocado, a dish that is one of his favorites but I hate the smell of so it’s a win-win.

Friday: Eggs
            Bacon
            Pancakes
            Pears

Saturday/Sunday: We’ll be visiting family so meals will be in flex.  We’ll take water, fruits and veggies,                     crackers, protein bars, and some beef jerky so we don’t have to stop anywhere along the way.
