Whew. Life has been a blur lately. If you haven’t been following along I have the shingles. BOO! It wasn’t so bad to begin with and then it got really painful. THEN, I wasn’t sure if it was painful or not because I couldn’t keep my eyes open. A whole lot of sleeping going on for the Queen in the last 48 hours. But life goes on and we gotta eat around these parts so I’ve been planning it up today. Here’s what’s for dinner on the Royal Table this week:
Monday: Pulled Mesquite Chicken
Red Roasted Potatoes
Green Beans with Mushroom
Sliced Strawberries
Tuesday: Turkey Pepperoni and Veggie Pizza
on Whole Wheat Crust
Spring Mix Salad
Cherry Crumble
Wednesday: Honey Lemon Grilled Shrimp
on a bed of Greens
with Boiled Egg, Avocado, Cheese, Slivered Almonds
Red/Yellow Peppers, Cucumber, and Carrots
Thursday: Grilled Chicken
Whole Wheat Pasta with Spinach and Veggies in a Tomato Basil Sauce
Toast/Olive Oil
Pear Slices and Peanutbutter dip
Friday: PBJ/Sliced Veggies for an early afternoon snack
Later in the evening, Pasta out somewhere (for me and the girls as the King is still restaurant
free in 2010) before the RAIN Ride on Saturday
Saturday: The Royal Couple’s 11th Anniversary
RAIN Ride! I will not be cooking all day. 🙂
The Princesses will be with either the Queen Mum or the King’s Mum.
The King of Free will dine on veggies, fruits, cereal, and snacks packed from home.
Sunday: HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY to the ELDEST PRINCESS
Meals TBD by her throughout the day.
Planning your meals (even if it’s only scribbling down main dishes for the week) is the best way to use everything you’ve purchased before it goes bad and save some serious cash. I promise that we waste less and spend less simply from this one habit more than any other.
What about you? What’s on your Royal Table this week?
