Greetings Money Saving Lords and Ladies. I know you’re used to me giving you deals and freebies and not asking for something. But for a couple more days, I’ll be asking for you to support my Race for the Cure team. You see, we’re celebrating LIFE in the Royal Family this year. The King’s Mum is a TWENTY year survivor of Breast Cancer. And because she is an amazing part of our world and because she is passionate about helping others become survivors too, we’re raising money and running in the Race for the Cure this Saturday.
So far, we have 19 Money Saving Lords and Ladies registered on our team. And we’ve raised $440 of our $1000 goal. Hanes has been very gracious to support our efforts and on Saturday, you’ll be able to find us all outfitted in t-shirts with the logo on the left. They’ve also made some great donations for the Wabash Valley Susan G. Komen for the Cure Silent Auction. Plus the team member who raises the most money will receive a $50 Hanes Gift Card. I’m so thankful for their generosity. YAY Hanes Pink for your many efforts to find a cure.
Tomorrow is the last day you can make an online contribution. So I’m asking that as many of you who can give us a “Royal High Five”! You can donate as little as $5 and can give anonymously. You can contribute to the team in general or choose to bless someone who’s in the running for the $50 gift card.
I know how hard it can be when you’re getting out of debt. Many times, I’ve wanted to give but simply didn’t have the money. So I understand if you’re not in the financial position to give. But I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important to me.
