The Queen is warm and cozy, snuggled up inside as the frightful wind blows outside. Who knew Ike could travel so far north? Thanks to the Crockpot Queen Stephanie we had an amazing pizza soup for lunch today and some warm fresh 100% whole wheat bread on the side. So now the King sits alongside me on the Royal Couch, watching some Colts football. I’m also scanning my Fantasy Team but I digress.
I wish I had today’s freebie right now in my little palms. It would further encourage my feelings of warm snuggliness. Fresh from the freebie bulletin boards, Kashi has a free oatmeal dark chocolate cookie up for grabs. This is terrific as I have been in the process of devising a recipe for a Breakfast cookie. I’m wanting to use oats, flax, protein powder so that it’s a nutritional powerhouse in your hand. I’m betting adding a little dark chocolate would put it over the top! Hopefully I can get some ideas from this sample. 🙂
