So the Queen has quite the addiction to blogs. There are just so many good ones out there. Here’s a gem I discovered this week and have already taken to heart. It’s called Crockpot 365 or a Year of Crockpotting.
Now the Queen and King have kissed their eating out days goodbye. Or at least for a season. We have currently gone 35 days since we last paid to eat out. Once or twice our parents or others of the royal court have paid for us to eat out but other than that, we have not darkened the door of any restaurant. I’m talking beverages, desserts, treats, meals – fast or slow, nothing, nada, zip-o. SO the Queen is constantly on the prowl for recipes especially for Sundays where we can eat as soon as we get home from church AND I want it to be something that can stretch out for the entire day plus perhaps provide leftovers. My crockpot recipes are pretty basic, a couple of soups and one casserole. I was OVERJOYED to find this site, filled with all sorts of recipes and not just your basic soups and casserole-y dishes. In fact, at this very moment French Toast is cooking in my crockpot. That’s right folks, hot breakfast on the royal table tomorrow AM. YUM-O. There are desserts, appetizers, main dishes and more! Check it out. Tomorrow after breakfast, I’m refilling the crockpot with ingredients to make yummy pizza soup!
So the Queen salutes you Stephanie for your wonderful yummy commitment to bringing us awesome crockpotting solutions to life.
