We’ve already talked about some of the great giveaways going on today 4/22 to celebrate Earth Day. A couple have come and gone. And then there was the Target tote bag that I didn’t get on Sunday (wahh!). But there are a few active Wednesday 4/22. Let me remind you of my favorites:
- Bring three water bottles into the Disney Store today to get a free gift while supplies last!
- You can download a rebate form for Reynolds Wrap beginning @ 4:22 AM on 4/22. It’s only available today so download it. When coupled with the coupon that was in Sunday’s paper you’re going to make some money off of the deal, too.
- Walgreens will have free reusable bags (with any purchase tomorrow) that will contain a 15% off of select items coupon. Print this coupon to take with you. Thanks Freebies4Mom !
- I LOVE this one. Aveeno is giving away reusable cotton organic bags with a sample of the NOURISH+ Hair Care Collection Shampoo and Conditioner. AND they are donating $10 to Global Green USA for each bag given away. Go here for more details.

- To encourage you to eat more organic foods, Go Organic Earth Day is offering coupon booklets. The Kroger near us has them. Sweet. Scroll down and enter your zip to find one near you. Thanks to TheDailyGreen.
Now, let me pause and say something I don’t say often on here enough. It is not a good idea to order or get every freebie just for the sake of getting it. i.e. We don’t have royal pets, so I don’t feel the need to collect large amounts of Cat Food. We don’t drink any kind of pop so I don’t get coupons/freebies of that variety. There’s something that feels a little wrong about the number of Earth Day freebies that there are this year. Be sure to take advantage of those offers that you will truly use. Don’t let your stuff designate who you are. And certainly don’t let stuff and pursuit of it control your life. It’s not good for the planet. It’s not good for you. That being said, enjoy those things that you can obtain that you do need. 🙂 And rejoice in the created wonder that is our planet while be a good caretaker of it, too.
