So today is one of those days where I definitely wish I could rewind the day and begin again. The Youngest Princess had a doctor’s appointment this morning; nothing special just a 15 month old check up with no shots involved. It should be simple to breeze in and out of the office in a small amount of time with a limited amount of tears, right? Not so much. On the contrary, I thought it strange that as we left, the entire Doctor’s office staff – doctors, nurses, assistants, and front office staff – stood at attention in a grand receiving line and applauded our departure. Isn’t it amazing that they give such quality and affirming service? What?! You think that after 39 minutes of crying, nay screaming and wallering (and that was just me), that perhaps they were glad to see us go? Well I never! So maybe I’m exaggerating a little bit but you get the picture. It’s one of those befrazzled sort of days where I wish that my children were perfect, I had time enough to give every detail of my day the attention that it deserves, and I didn’t feel like crawling up into a fetal position and napping. Are you with me?
So it feels like I’m need of a fresh start to this day!
