Brrrr. It’s cold outside in the Queendom. And whenever the temperature dips, I begin to crave warm, comfort foods. It leads me to usually overindulging in something delicious . . . that I regret later. And since the weather doesn’t seem like it’s going to warm up anytime soon, I’ve been seeking out suitable alternatives.
We eat a lot of homemade soups on the Royal Table making us pretty picky. So I was relatively skeptical when we received a variety of canned soups to try out. But I have to say I was surprised with the soups’ taste and nutritional content (most are less than 100 calories). The King of Free took more than one can to lunch and raved about the soups’ taste. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t feel overly salty since I’m a plain jane.
