Friends, I have a new weekly love. Every Thursday, I pack it up and head out for a few quiet moments away in my love’s midst. I slowly roll along declaring my devotion and gently touching all of the merchandise, carefully making my selection. Yep, only I could be this excited about grocery shopping. You might remember back in June, Fresh Thyme Farmers Market opened in my ‘hood. And all of my neighbors to the north in Indianapolis were for once jealous of something we had on the south side.
I honestly wondered if when Fresh Thyme first opened, the good prices would disappear in a month’s time – if they were too good to be true and grand opening one time only sort of occurrence. However, they seem to stay consistently fantastic. Each week, I’m wowed by the great produce and meat deals at Fresh Thyme. The Chicken Apple Sausage has become a family favorite. Two weeks ago, I bought so many apples that we might have thought of opening our own orchard.
This week, I’ve got my eye on the asparagus and pears. Rejoice my neighbors to the north of Indianapolis. There are TWO new stores opening this week on 82nd and 86th street. There will be much fanfare and rejoicing. And many special events to celebrate. If you live near either of these stores, you need to get in on the action and like their Facebook Page so you know the schedule and special offerings.

We went there and loved that they could make things for you on the spot (with so many choices!). I got a gluten free pizza made to order and the fact that they had gluten free crust was such a nice surprise. They have a huge gluten free section but also enough stuff for my non-gluten free family members 🙂 Such unique choices!
Can’t beat the weekly produce deals!

Love Love Love Fresh Thyme! Totally worth the drive if my kids (and husband) eat more fresh fruit and veggies. Love the buffalo chicken pizza from the deli for a quick dinner too.
We had a Fresh Thyme open on the south side of Indianapolis not long ago. I really love the bulk section and the whole bean coffees that you can grind fresh. I also think they run some great specials. Thanks for the giveaway.
