Budget does not have to be a B word. Check out these free printable budget worksheet to get your finances under control.

UPDATE: There are now all new budget forms in editable PDF form go check out All New: FREE Printable Budget Forms You Can Edit.

Budgeting helped us pay off $127K in debt. You can read our story in Slaying the Debt Dragon: How One Family Conquered Their Money Monster and Found an Inspired Happily Ever After. In fact, there’s an entire chapter devoted to budgeting. Plus, it’s kind of funny (or at least I think so).

Just getting started in the budgeting process? I’m so excited to offer a FREE cute printable budget worksheet to kickstart your efforts. I’ve brainstormed every category I could to help you think through every area of spending. There’s space for the areas specific to you.

May is just around the corner and this week is the perfect time to begin evaluating your finances and getting your spending under control. Both the budget form and money expenditure log will help you do that. You can choose to print in primarily black and white or in purple (what else would a royal love?) or head on over to Slaying the Debt Dragon for a red version (because we love to keep things fresh!). We’ve attached them a few different ways so you can pick and choose which files you want to print.

  • Monthly Budget and Money Expenditure Log (Color)
  • Monthly Budget and Money Expenditure Log (Black & White)
  • Monthly Budget Form (Color)
  • Monthly Budget Form (Black & White)
  • Money Expenditure Log (Color)
  • Money Expenditure Log (Black & White)

Don’t forget all of the other resources available on the FREE Printables tab on the upper right menu bar. Included among the other handy items we’ve created to help your Debt Slaying Journey are:

  • FREE Printable Menu Planner & Grocery List
  • FREE Printable Kids Budget Envelopes
  • FREE Printable Cash Envelopes
  • Seven FREE Printable Christmas Budget Forms

A quick word to the wise. If you don’t have regular income, that’s OK. You still need to budget. Begin with either what your family earned in the prior year for income or known income. Getting a good handle on your regular expenses will help with sporadic income when it does arrive so that you have a “hit list” of where that money will go rather than spending wildly in the meantime and in between time.

What are you waiting for? Get to printing and begin your Financial Happily Ever After right now!
