Give Away: Win byTavi Purses

This is a give away post that I chose to do because I love byTavi. No money was exchanged nor did I receive anything. We just want to collectively bless one of you and tell you about an amazing brand doing amazing things featuring amazing products (did I mention the word amazing?). For more on my disclosure policy, 

I am a self-confessed low maintenance girl. While I won’t be wearing trash bags to my next segment on WTHR, I would be most comfortable in my favorite jeans (bought on clearance for less than $10, of course) and my best t-shirt (which may or may not have holes in it but is so soft it feels like wearing kittens). When I do spend money on something to wear, it needs to be two things:

1. A ridiculously good deal.
2. A product that makes a difference in the world.

Bring the both of these things together, the heavens sing in sweet, sweet harmony and I walk on accessory sunshine. Enter byTavi purses and fashion items. byTavi is a non-profit organization in my backyard. Seriously, I could walk there from the King of Free‘s office. What I love about byTavi is that they found a need – women living in abject poverty and at risk for being trafficked – and met it by equipping those women with specific skills to earn a wage. They also created products that are drop dead gorgeous and funky conversation pieces. Every time I pop into byTavi, whether I’m browsing for myself or purchasing a gift, I look at the names on the wall and the pictures of the women who made each product. I whisper a prayer of gratitude for their gifts and God’s plan for their lives. And then I tell everyone I can about how awesome both these women and the non-profit organization that partners with them is.

There’s always a bargain table at byTavi. The purse I’m currently carrying (which had four smaller bags inside of it) was $5 – no joke. Occasionally, byTavi will host a killer sale, too. THIS week on Friday October 31st there a scary good sale going down in the byTavi warehouse and I want to invite you to shop with me. Seriously, let’s hang out and score a great bargain together (which is way more fun than overspending and shopping alone). From 10 AM – 4 PM, select items in store only will be up to 80% off or $5 a piece. On Facebook for the last couple of weeks, I have watched as item after item after item on my wish list has pulled through my feed. I seriously just clapped my hands in glee. Mama has some birthday money and she knows just how to use it.

I reached out to byTavi because not only did I want to share the news of this fantastic sale with you but I wanted to tell you more about their mission and loveliness. Together, we decided to host a give away with just a taste of what will be on sale. Pictured above are four of the featured items:
