Perhaps you’ve wandered my direction tonight after seeing me on WTHR’s 11 PM newscast talking about Extreme Couponing, Kroger’s new coupon policy, and ethical couponing. A few thoughts before we begin our new journey together:
- Yep, you heard right. We’ve paid off over $111K (there are 3 1s, I promise) since April of 2008 of debt. We are not yet debt free. We estimate that in ~ 7 months we’ll be debt free {except for the mortgage}. You are cordially invited to celebrate at a party of biblical proportions. Our debt was/is a combination of credit card debt, car debt, a small loan, furniture bought on a payment plan, and a WHOLE lot of Student Loan debt. We’re still kicking Sallie Mae in the teeth and smiling while we do it. You can do it, too. Read more about our story here: about her highness. And check out 31 Days to Reducing Your Debt to read more about the ways that we’ve been able to embark on such a journey.
- I do offer royal coupon classes where I teach people how to most effectively collect, organize, and use coupons. While best in a public setting, like a library or church, I am also open to private or semi-private classes in homes depending on my schedule and driving distance. E-mail me and we’ll chat.
- I also do a lot of speaking on other Money Saving topics – everything from meal planning to Black Friday, budgeting to frugal fitness and beyond. pr & speaking will give you the low down on what I do {I have 7 established speaking tracks and am able to develop content}. I absolutely LOVE speaking to MOPS and Moms groups as well as churches, financial literacy groups, libraries, and even student groups.
- My husband – The King of Free {who blogs about his own journey of not eating at a restaurant for the last 21+ months} – and I love to speak to couples about marriage and finance, too and are available for retreats and marriage emphasis evenings. We’re mushy and we’re proud of it.
- You can print plenty ‘o coupons from this page on my site: coupons. My top three abso-toot-ley favorite central Indiana money saving blogs for grocery deal matching and coupons are: Bargain Briana, In Good Cents, and Inexpensively. When I’m hunting for specific coupons I exclusively use the Bargain Briana Coupon Database because that’s how I roll and she’s a sweet soul.
- I’m a Social Media Junkie. You can find me in the Court of the Queen of Free on Facebook {where I spend waaay too much time}, on Twitter {@thequeenoffree}, on Pinterest {maaaan it’s so addictive!}, and also blogging at the Indianapolis Convention and Visitors’ Association’s Doing Indy {where I talk about free, frugal, and family fun things to do in and around the Indianapolis area}.
