I’m kind of a nostalgic geek. I think it has to do with my whole bent toward history or my love of pop culture. That’s why I was thrilled when Mom Central and Hallmark asked me to take a look at the new Rainbow Brite. I was 8 years old (almost the exact same age as the Eldest Princess) when Rainbow Brite burst on the scene in 1984. I remember LOVING her sparkly dress and the little sprites who were her friends. I had a Rainbow Brite doll AND a Sprite (I can’t remember which one but it was CUDDLY!).
