Here’s what’s for dinner on the Royal Table this week. We still haven’t eaten out as a family since the beginning of the year. WOOT WOOT. Now, I did eat out over Blissdom (only paid for 3 meals though over 4 days) and we’ve taken the girls through the drive-thru once spending less than $5. The King remains a rock and hasn’t eaten out in 2010. That’s why I love that guy. 🙂
Monday: Black Bean Turkey Meatloaf (making two and freezing one)
Spinach Salad with Cucumber, Carrots, Yellow Pepper, Avocado and Cheese
Organic Mac-n-Cheese
Tuesday: Honey Lemon Garlic Shrimp
on Spinach Salad with Mushrooms, Cucumber, Yellow Pepper,
Red Onions, Avocado, Cheese, and dressing
Toast with Olive Oil
Wednesday: Baked Flounder Sandwiches (loosely based on this recipe) on Whole Wheat Bread
Sweet Potato Fries
Green Beans
Thursday: Veggie Pizza
Cheese Pizza for Kids
Side Salad
Friday: Leftovers
(just the King and I for dinner as the kids travel to the Queen Mum’s for the weekend)
Saturday: Dinner Out?!?!
Since we’re kidless we might think about it but I’m doubting I’ll get the King to make the leap.
More than likely, we’ll end up going to the grocery store, picking out what sounds good, and
cooking dinner together which is just as fun though. 🙂
Sunday: Black Beans
Brown Rice
with Salsa, Spinach, Cheese, Sour Cream, and Avocado
