Hi everybody. Welp, we’re four days into the Seven Days of Cherie. Thus far, I got my favorite Mango Ceylon Tea, some new socks (I needed them puh-retty badly), and a night on my own where I ran errands, went to the gym, etc. 🙂 We’ll see what Day 4 holds. I’m sure it will be awesome.
Today I thought I would share some of my favorite Birthday Freebies. In this edition, we’ll focus on places that give you free ice cream or dessert to celebrate your favorite day. Keep in mind that I’m a Freebie Purist. I’m not much on B1G1 or Buy an Entree, get a free dessert sort of deals. I want to walk in with my print out, get my birthday gift, and leave. Some might think it rude, but that’s how I roll. Also, as a Freebies 101 Reminder, a lot of theses birthday “gifts” are a part of e-mail lists for the restaurants. Set up a special account if you don’t already have one where all of your freebies go.
- Coldstone Creamery Birthday Club. You can manage your entire family’s birthdays from one page and you get a printable coupon within a week of your birthday good for 1 Like It with 1 Mix In, no purchase necessary. Check, already used it. 🙂 Throughout the year, you’ll get other offers, too.
- Maggie Moos. Get a coupon good for 1 cone on your birthday when signing up for MaggiE-mail. You also get coupons from time to time. The coupon is really vague and the woman working last night gave me whatever I wanted. I went small but still had the waffle cone (what a treat!) with a creation Birthday Cake Carnival, I believe was the name. You get other offers, too.
- Baskin Robbins. The good ‘ole 31 Flavors gives you a 2.5 oz cone on your birthday. You can also manage at least your kiddos birthdays from the same page, too. You get other coupons and an offer for $3 off a cake.
- Dairy Queen Blizzard Fan Club. This is a B1G1 Birthday offer. Wah, give me the straight up free stuff. But I guess it’s better than nothing. You also get a B1G1 coupon just for signing up though.
- Culver’s eClub. I just joined this one and you can manage your family’s birthdays from one spot, again. Not sure what it will yield but am thinking a free cone? We’ll see.
- Marble Slab Creamery. We don’t have one of these so I’m not a member. It does say they send you “birthday surprises.”
