Good morning Lords and Ladies. Let’s just say the morning got off to a rocky start. Very little sleep again last night, plenty of getting ready for school drama, and two dirty diapers all before 9 AM. When your day starts out with that much literal poop, you begin to wonder where things are leading. But now, the King and the Eldest Princess are gone, the Youngest Princess is napping, the house is quiet and I have you all to myself. Ahhhhh.
Let’s start this Tuesday off with a little giveaway, shall we?
So I have this friend. His wife blogs about travel here. They’re really cool people. He’s the pastor here. It’s a really cool place. We used to go there when we were in college and the King was baptized there which is a big deal to us. We visit whenever we get the chance.
But I digress. He is also a wicked talented musician. Scot (oh his name is Scot Longyear if you were too lazy to click the link) even has his own store. And his second CD just dropped last month. I wore out the first one.
Simple Worship 2 brings to the table many of the same nuances that Simple Worship did. Acoustic relaxing tunes, clear, confident vocals, challenging lyrics. And one of the tracks features the mandolin (seriously, it doesn’t get better than that). It’s the type of CD that makes you breathe better just by listening to it. And if this doesn’t make you speed to the comments section, I don’t know what will: I have never seen my children calmer than when this CD is spinning. No joke. By the way, if you know someone who’s a worship leader Scot has a FREE e-book here entitled Worship Leading Essentials.
Scot (who is a reader, too) in his kindness sent not only me a CD but one for you, too. Ok just one of you but I’m sure he’d give one to every one of you if he could! So let’s get this giveaway under way okay?
2) Tweet on Twitter, update your Status Message on Facebook, or Blog on your personal blog with details of the Simple Worship 2 CD Giveaway for an additional entry. Be sure to leave A SEPARATE comment here linking the Tweet, Status or Blog.
