Bon voyage good Lords and Ladies, we’re just about to pull out of the port and embark on our Chicago adventure! I’m so very excited for a couple of days of exploring unique and fun places. I can’t wait to hit the pavement see all there is to see. I have my camera charged so that you can get a glimpse of everything that we do. It’s just like you’re going on vacation with us.
I am a little worried about the Eldest Princess who still has a fever (but no other symptoms) and didn’t sleep well again last night. The Poor Queen Mum will be run ragged when we return on Friday if the little one doesn’t begin to feel better soon. Mama guilt/crazy concern kicks in automatically when something like this happens. So if you will please pray that the baby will feel better and that I’ll be able to let go of my neurotic, control freak attitudes and enjoy myself. 🙂
Just this morning, I got word from a friend from church that we’re going to be able to go backstage for “Jersey Boys” tonight. A friend of hers from high school has one of the lead roles and she contacted him about giving us a grand tour after the show. Yay! Thanks Lady Kara. I’m so thrilled for this little special extra VIP treatment.
Ok, I should give you your freebies and then hit the road peeps. Have a great day!

Happy Anniversary! It’s hard to believe it has been 10 years, but I remember being uber pregnant at your wedding. Have a great time and I will be praying for you, the King, and the Princesses.
happy anniversary!
Thanks so much Lady Chicken Lady! I guess I never update that after one rocky night, the youngest princess’ fever blew over and she didn’t ever get sick again. Bizarre but it was good for me to practice letting go. Backstage was AWESOME. I had to pinch myself a couple of times.
Lady Jackie, I too remember you being terrifically pregnant at the wedding and when Brian asked the other day how old your daughter was, I knew immediately. Hey can we sign The Eldest Princess up for Camp Roberts next summer? I want her to learn to garden and sew. Can you handle that in a week’s time?
Thank you so much Lady Aimee! It was a wonderful trip and anniversary.
