Royal Update: What’s Going On?

Good morning Lords and Ladies.  I thought I’d take a couple of minutes to catch you up in what’s going on in our worlds right now.

• If you guessed I would be Guest Posting on Stretching a Buck, you were correct!  For the next couple of weeks, I’ll be giving Lady Marcy a hand with her Friday Freebie Round Ups.  Yay!

• I’ve finished 14 of the 30 Days of Shred.  I feel great and definitely see some new muscle definition. If you’re still tossing around the idea of getting this video, I strongly encourage you to do so.  I have so much energy and it’s very easy to commit to 20 minutes a day.  🙂  I just wanted to let you know that I’ve stuck with it over the last half of the month and today I’ll hit the halfway point.

• Yesterday I got some dishes done.  But not all of the dishes.  And I got some laundry done but not all of the laundry.  And I kind of looked in my cabinets but didn’t make a grocery list.  Even still, I’ll take a halfway day of getting things completed over a do nothing day any day!

• Speaking of yesterday, how many of you had to turn your heat on?  Come on, raise your hands . . . What?!?!  I was the only one who had the heat jacked up making in 90 degrees in my house?  Our AC froze over and we had to dethaw it.  Yowza it was hot in here.  But everything’s fine now and I’m so thankful for our Dave Ramsey mandated $1000 emergency fund.  $200 of it may be gone but we’re not hurting and the air conditioning works very well this AM.  Time to “restock” the emergency fund.  🙂

• Lady Sharon sent me a nice e-mail yesterday letting me know that the link I put up earlier this week for the Precious Places Fischer Price DVD didn’t go to the right place.  WHOOPS.  I am so sorry.  The Eldest Princess received it this week and we’ve watched it a few times already (it’s only 12 minutes long).  It’s pretty cute.

• Speaking of the Princess, she blogged yesterday on her recent trip to American Girl Club at the Library where she “Met a Real Llama.”  Read her post here.  Next Monday we’ll both be reviewing a product together which I think should be a fantabulous time.

• Today we have a lot of great freebies, a give away, and a special reminder coming your way so I’ll get to posting them so we can hit the road for a quick day trip to visit the Queen Mum.  I’m looking forward to podcasts while I’m on the road and a chance for a quick visit.  🙂
