I am just full of information that I want to share with you this morning. In particular I have several things stored in my head under the category of places I must go to this summer in the Indianapolis Area. In no particular order here they are:
- My favorite place to relax in Indianapolis is Bella Naturale ! I absolute *heart* Sir Correy and Lady Laura Fuqua because they run a great spa filled with people who care about helping you be the best that you can be. Sir Correy cuts my royal locks and does an amazing job taming my mane. Granted, it’s not the cost of your average Great Clips cut; however, even I’ve found that it’s best to go somewhere where you only have to get your hair cut once rather than have someone’s mistake corrected. OR it’s cheaper to have a facial done right rather than going to a dermatologist after using a sketchy product. Now here’s the BEST part. Twice a year Bella holds a FANTASTIC Open House. You get FREE services like chair massages, hand treatments, and make up application plus you get to enjoy free food and wine and great live music. And they offer deep discounts on their Aveda products (which you can still get via phone or e-mail if you can’t make it in on the actual day). Mark your calendar for Monday JUNE 15th 12 PM – 8 PM for this year’s Summer Open House. You’ll definitely see me there.
- My favorite new local eatery is Our Bake Shoppe located in the heart of Old Town Greenwood right on Main Street. Sir Dan and Lady Rebecca feature all sorts of AWESOME, custom made, completely from scratch gourmet cupcakes. From Turtle to S’mores, from Cinnamon Roll to Peanut Butter Cup this ain’t Duncan Hines Yellow Cake mix. They also do cake cakes, pull apart cupcake cakes, and wedding cakes. You absolutely MUST check them out this summer!
- I had a great blogger meet up this past weekend where I met Lady Jen of 4tunate (Lady Mindy G. you absolutely MUST meet her). She had recently taken her Quadruplet Two Year Old boys (WOW!) to Trader’s Point Creamery , a place I’ve ALWAYS wanted to go! There are all sorts of tours available, all very affordably priced and sound like TONS of fun. Unfortunately we missed free ice cream cone day last Saturday (sniff, sniff) but would have been way too busy to attend anyway.
- When flipping through my Entertainment Book recently, I was reminded of the Museum of Miniature Houses And Other Collections located in Carmel, IN. There’s a great coupon for B1G1 admission (and it’s not that expensive anyway). I think they Eldest Princess would LOVE looking at all of the houses and the Youngest Princess will do her best to claw her way out of the stroller and knock everything down!
- Last but not least if you are planning a visit to the Indianapolis area (or like us live here already), be sure to check out Lady Casey’s (of moosh in indy one of the best blogs, eva; seriously people Lady Casey is like my bloggy yogi or something and I feel the need to bust out the Wayne’s World “I’m Not Worthy” posture every time I’m blessed with the opportunity of hanging out with her) post on the Indianapolis Visitors and Convention Association Site. She’ll be posting regularly on Visiting Indy with Kids – where to go, what to do to have a great time and get the best bang for your buck! And while there I accidently found my buddy Sir Jason’s blog Positively Indy with other Indy insights. Double bonus.
