So things have been pretty quiet on What Do You Do Wednesdays, folks. I need you to comment and be a part of the Court in order for it to work! Otherwise it will end up being What I Do Wednesday which isn’t nearly as catchy nor is it as much fun. If you don’t speak up soon, I’m gonna shut ‘er down. I know you’re teeming with ways that you save money and live life more fully so give me your best tips. Please, please, pretty please?!
I’m staying on the Mother’s Day theme this week. The eldest princess and I tackled one of the Michael’s craft workshops last night and made some paper flower bouquets. It was a little unorganized – they had double booked their classroom and had to put us in the hallway which I’m pretty sure was a fire hazard but whatever and didn’t seem to have all of their supplies in order. Still, it was fun. Yet, I was reminded why I got poor marks for cutting in Kindergarten (Sorry, Mrs. Scott). Scissors are not my friends and I am crafting impaired. We plan on going back either tonight or Friday night for another round. Yay for free crafts led by people who know what they’re doing even if they’re disorganized. 😉
I love receiving homemade cards from the eldest princess for Mother’s Day (the youngest princess pretty much only eats paper right now, occasionally scribbling and eating the crayon, too). What about you? What’s your favorite homemade gift to give or receive on Mother’s Day? How are you planning on celebrating your Mom/Grandma/Nana/Aunt/Great Grandma/Wife without spending a dime? Drop your ideas here so I can figure out what to do!

My hubby took the kiddos to Home Depot for the kids workshop on Saturday. My daughter is quite excited about the gift they made for me. I’m practicing being really surprised! We’re also having my m-i-l over for lunch and the rest of the family for dinner. I’ve got a few crafty items up my sleeve for gifts. If you want more details, email me…too long to post here! And, I don’t want to ruin the surprise if they happen to follow your blog 🙂
