Every Monday, here in the Court of the Queen of Free, we talk about what will be eaten on the Royal Table this week. I like to weekly to plan what we’ll be eating. I feel like meal planning is one of the best ways to use what you’ve already got in your fridge and cabinets, eat balanced meals, and relieve stress and the dreaded “What Are We Having for Dinner?” question. From the meal plan, it’s easy to develop a shopping list and buy only what you need, reducing your spending! Without further ado, here’s what we’re eating this week:
Monday: Mesquite Grilled Pork Chops
Black Beans
Spinach Salad with Red and Yellow Pepper and Feta Cheese
Quick Bread with Garlic and Cheese (Adding the Garlic and Cheese for a kick!)
Tuesday: Taco Pizza (Salsa, Black Beans, Ground Turkey, Mexican Cheese – melted)
Topped with Lettuce, Avocado, and Light Sour Cream
Wednesday: Inside Out Turkey Burgers (found the recipe idea @ the Kraft Community )
Onion Rings
Green Beans
Apple Sauce
Thursday: BBQ Chicken Sandwiches on Whole Wheat Buns
Black Beans
Cole Slaw
Fruit Salad
Friday: Mesquite Grilled Salmon
Mashed Sweet Potatoes
Salad – Romaine, Cucumber, Red & Yellow Pepper , Avocado, Carrots
Saturday Lunch: PBJ
Fresh Veggies – Carrots, Cucumber, Celery with peanut butter
Apple Sauce
Dinner: Grilled Chicken
Pasta with Olive Oil and Veggies – Zucchini, Mushroom, Peppers – and Parm Cheese
Sunday Lunch: Chicken Zucchini Rotini
Toast and Olive Oil
Dinner: Mediterranean Pizza
Small Cheese Pizza for the Princesses
