Here’s a round up of just some of the tracks that you can get for free this Thursday on the world wide web:
iTunes: We’ve talked many times before about the free music download available weekly on iTunes. It’s usually an up and coming artist but now and then it’s someone I’ve actually heard of – shocker. But did you also know that there are a whole host of other free downloadables? A quick glance showed that there are several MLB pre-season reports, the first epi of the new NBC series Kings (which I’ve heard is based on the lives of King Saul and King David), and how to play slide guitar. Info on iTunes here and if you already have the application, simply scroll down (about 3/4 of the way) to where it says Free on iTunes.
Walmart: Is featuring Kelly Clarkson’s “My Life Would Suck Without You” free for download here . You can weekly check for free downloads here. This week “Kiss Me I’m Irish” by Gaelic and “Do It For You” by The Ballas Hough Band (that’s right DWTS dancers are now all turning into artists) are featured. Walmart’s downloads are $0.74 regularly priced, finally compatible with iTunes and you can check on the Features & Specials tab for free downloads every week. Download home here .
Amazon: Features over 500 songs everyday for free. That being said it’s a little difficult to wade through sometimes. However, I did find a couple of Bare Naked Ladies tracks that I didn’t have on there this week. Free Music on Amazon. The site also features albums for as low as $5.99 and single downloads starting at $0.79.
Pizza Hut: I didn’t have much time to investigate this one but Pizza Hut in conjunction with eMusic offers you 25 free downloads (and a free trial of eMusic). I didn’t recognize any of the bands but that doesn’t mean they’re not good. Go here to check it out and report back if you think this is a worthwhile freebie.
Happy Free Music Thursday!

I’ve just added a post on my Mission Notes site (www.missionnotes.com) where you can download a “My Deliverer” from Mandisa’s new album “Freedom”. I always highlight some free Christian Music on that site whenever I find it.
