So I may or may not have mentioned before how much I love the magazine All You . You can either subscribe to it online or buy it in store @ Walmart. It has tons of coupons in it (go here for March’s coupon list). Since there were no coupons in the Sunday paper this week, I treated myself to an issue of the magazine instead (the coupons inside more than pay for it and it has great articles, too lest you think I splurged 🙂 ). I have yet to bring myself to subscribe. I don’t really subscribe to any magazines even though it will be more than well worth it. In fact, Deal Seeking Mom tells you how to get a 2 year subscription for 19.95 here . Maybe someone someday will send it to me or subscribe for me. 🙂 Here are a few of my favorite tips from February’s edition (page 14 to be specific).
- Waste Less: When you finish a stick of butter, put the wrapper in a plastic bag and refrigerate. Use it to grease baking pans later.
- Never forget a task again: Set up an online to-do list at rememberthemilk.com . The service will send you an e-mail or a text or instant message about the chores you need to get done. No more forgetting to pick up bread or eggs after work!
- Household heroes: Fight skin irritation
- White vinegar: To clean a cut, soak a washcloth in a mixture of vinegar and cool water. Gently place it on the wound to kill bacteria.
- Petroleum jelly: Cuts heal faster when they’re kept moist, so apply the jelly twice a day and keep a bandage on the wound.
- Tea: Prepare regular black tea. Dip a cotton ball in it and wipe on skin to ease poison-ivy itch.

I LOVE All You. I’ve been getting for years from Wal-Mart, even seen at Dollar General in the past. I just recently bought a subscription. Would Zoe care if I got her an All You subsription for her birthday?
Zoe LOVES All You. She chews on the pages whenever she gets the chance! Plus all the money I save can buy her more diapers. 🙂
