It’s a quiet morning here in the Queendom. The eldest princess is off to school, the King has a big day in court today and left quite early, the youngest princess has been successfully snoozing for 30 minutes so far for her AM nap. I have plenty to do today . . . I have coupons to organize, coupons to print (thanks to Sir Aaron and Lady Meredith for giving me a new printer!), a trip to Aldi to make, and some appetizers to prepare for a royal gathering tonight. But sitting in the quiet with my cup of coffee makes it all seem like a grand adventure rather than a royal rush of a day.
Yesterday, I received several freebies, among them a new Intuition razor (just in time!), some Kotex things, and a Republic of Tea Catalog that included a free sample of tea. I *heart* Republic of Tea. There are not many things better this side of heaven than a warm cup or a cold glass of Mango Ceylon tea. Glancing through the catalog alone was lovely enough for me but a free sample of quality tea made it even better. Go Republic of Tea’s website and sign up for a catalog and enjoy it yourself!
Speaking of catalogs, I ordered the eldest princess Sears’ Wish Book yesterday. Do any of you remember getting the big ‘ole Sears catalog and marking your favorite toys for Christmas? My parents had a great perspective on Christmas in that we usually got one or two nice things and a few small things but it was never a big production. I am SO thankful for that and to you, Queen Mother. Having the Wish Book and daydreaming was still fun. 🙂 Go here to get one for your little lords and ladies.
So in an economy like ours (we really haven’t felt any more pinch than usual but the media wants me to tell you it’s baaaad verrry verrry baaad), have you ever wanted to print your own money? Go here and put your own face on a dollar bill and print it out. Looks like fun!
