So I don’t know if you have a Kroger near you or not, but they are featuring amazing deals this week. And for those who live in the immediate geographical area of the Queendom, there are special deals going on @ our local Kroger on 135 as they celebrate their grand re-opening.
Some of the deals I reaped today:
– Free 2 liter of Pepsi for being one of the 1st 200 shoppers through the door this AM (Grand Opening Deal)
– 88 cent sour cream and cottage cheese
– 29 cent/lb bananas (Grand Opening Deal)
– 29 cent/lb sweet potatoes that are as big as your HEAD! (pretty sure this is everywhere)
– 97 cent/lb turkey breast (4-8 lbers)
– 99 cent packages of cheese (Grand Opening Deal, they’re 3 for $5 everywhere else; I bought like 7 bags of cheese)
Plus plenty of other great deals. With coupons I picked up 25 cent Colgate Toothpaste, 50 cent Cottonelle Toilet paper, $1 bottles of Herbal Essence. It was a crazy funky fresh AM for savings! There were also free samples at every corner (every time I turned around someone was handing me something), a juggling, face painting clown, live music, and more! Some guy handed me a coupon for free Kroger yogurt too. There was a cookie decorating area for kiddos that is open until 4 PM. I may take the eldest princess when she gets off of the bus. Tomorrow AM, they are giving free recyclable grocery shopping bags for the first 200 (after 8 AM) and something else on Saturday. They are also have drawings for all sorts of prizes!
Check your local ad to see what your Kroger deals are here. If you live in our area, you should have gotten a flyer in the mail this week (we actually got one on Tuesday and one on Wednesday) with all of the Grand Opening Details! I’m so thankful that they have remodeled this Kroger. It is much closer to me than the one that I’ve driven to when I Kroger; however, it had been in such disrepair that we had always referred to it as “Dirty Kroger.” Now, in the Queendom we shall change its name to “Wonder Kroger.” It was a beautiful shopping experience and even though the parking lot was packed this AM, I’m sure to go back sometime soon (maybe tonight and tomorrow!).
