I was wondering if this might happen and it did. If you printed the KFC free two piece meal coupon earlier this week, there are now some issues. I’m not sure what they were thinking, offering to buy dinner for 4 for every family in America but it caused some major problems. I first heard reports of coupons being denied and then I heard that they were only accepting them between the hours of 1:30 and 4:30 and now, they’re issuing rainchecks for the coupons. You bring your coupon in and they will give you a raincheck form that you have to postmark before May 19th to get a new coupon. The idea is that they can spread out the redemption dates so they’re not overwhelmed with free meals. So you’ll be out the cost of a stamp and a bit of trouble but they are offering a free Pepsi for your troubles. 😉 KFC’s explanation here or if you’re not in a reading mood, watch the following You Tube clip. By the way, having lived in Kentucky for a bit of time, I’m not sure how I feel about the President of KFC having an Aussie accent.
