Good morning Lords and Ladies! I’m going to post twice again today. I have a book study this AM and so I’ll try to get a bit done this AM and a bit done in the PM. I wanted to take a couple of seconds to say how thankful I am for you all though. Believe it or not, I only began blogging on this site last August. QoF is still a baby, not even having had a piece of 1st year baby cake (I think that just might be a must). I’ve been blessed to see my small community of friends who did not see me as a crazy loon for my money saving ways morph into a much larger group of women and men (woohoo, I know there are several who read on a daily basis making this much more than a Blog for Girls Only, No Boys Allowed . . . speak up Sirs and let the ladies know that they aren’t the only frugal folks on the block). I’ve met bloggers who are further down the road from me and been blessed to encourage some of you to start blogs of your own. Who’s giving? Who’s receiving?
Lately, I’ve been getting a great influx of e-mails from many of you with tips and suggestions, ideas and of course freebies. Thank you so much! I try to answer all of the e-mails but sometimes it takes me awhile. So please know you are appreciated. And eventually I will get around to sharing your special insight [unless you’re off your rocker because I do reserve the right to lay the smack down and ignore suggestions like 1) Let your kids run around naked to save money on clothes. 2) Recipes on 22 different ways to prepare Alpo (mainly b/c I still think human food is cheaper) 3) How to use a credit card to save money (ain’t gonna happen. As we say in the Queendom, “Credit cards are from the devil.”)].
And I wanted to reassure those of you who were worried about me being at a doctor’s appointment on Thursday that you have nothing to worry about (nor do I). It was a routine yearly sort of thing (happy, happy, joy, joy). And I think I even found another Lady to join our Money Saving Quest because my nurse was totally awesome and likes to save a buck. It was very kind of you to encourage me though!
So let me encourage you to keep on reading. Tell your friends. Let me know if you know anyone who has a connection with a major media outlet (just kidding . . . kinda . . . maybe not). I want QoF to continue to grow and for you to know that if it weren’t for you reading, I’d be a very sad woman, sitting behind an Apple screen, sharing details of free stuff with no one. Thanks for making my journey so much more fun. Community is awesome.
