So all sorts of exciting things have been going on in and around the Queendom. It’s so odd that Fall is a time that we can often view through the lens of a process of death . . . summer leaves and plants begin to wither, the excitement of summer vacation fades as children return to school, and here in Indiana the weather begins to cool. It’s a season that leads to the barrenness of winter and yet I feel like so many things come to life in the fall. The leaves explode with color that vibrates with life. The flavors of fall are the best – fresh apples from the orchard, pumpkin, and cinnamon (YUM). And life returns to a normal rhythm around here with bus stop times, homework, a set bedtime. Life really takes off in the fall in the Queendom. And on this three things Thursday, I’m very pleased to announce some other great life experiences coming up for me this fall:
- I’ll be one of the speakers at this year’s Shelby County Women’s Expo on October 17th. It will be a great time to help women focus on Surviving the challenges that life throws at them, whether they be physical, financial, emotional, or otherwise. - I have three Moms’ Groups lined up to speak at this fall. If you live in the Indy or Terre Haute area and are interested in me sharing some frugal savvy tips with your MOPS or other Moms’ Group please contact me! I have a special passion for groups that encourage women to connect in community and explore what it truly means to be a mom.
- I’m in the process of scheduling 6 Couponing Classes in people’s homes right now where I share my best of the best tips for saving at the grocery store. $10 gets attendees a binder, some coupon organizing pages, great inserts with some tips for saving, two hours of my time in class and Q &A form.
