It was great to chat with you tonight about saving money. Here are a few of the resources that I mentioned to you!
- Dave Ramsey’s Total Money Makeover – a great place to start when figuring out how to get out of debt.
- All You Magazine – filled with great money saving tips and coupons!
- Join Swagbucks, the online search engine that gives you points for searching the internet (only 45 Swagbucks = a $5 Amazon Giftcard!).
- Check out the sidebar for my Royal Savings Academy where you can begin to think about more ways to save money!
- Also, be sure to scroll down to see some of the other blogs that I mentioned. Some of my favs are Bargain Briana, 5DollarDinners, Crockpot 365, Stretching a Buck, and Frugal Femina. And of course the Network where I contribute – Inexpensively!
- You can also subscribe to get QoF updates via e-mail (be sure you get the confirmation e-mail to activate the account), in an RSS feeder, or follow me on Facebook or on Twitter.

Thanks for the Swagbucks tip! I have joined up! Thought I would return the favor with a tip for you too. I haven’t seen any mention of the My Points website on your blog, http://www.mypoints.com. This is a great “FREE” way to get “FREE” gift cards for stores, restaurants, even GAS for your vehicle! After you sign up for your “FREE” account, you only need to click on ads sent to your email. No need to read the ads, just click & close to earn 5 or more points per ad. There are also surveys & other “FREE” point earning opportunities. You choose the option of how many & what type ads you get based on your interests. You can also get points for printing out coupons too! And, if you’re going to shop online anyway, why not get more for your $$? Almost every merchant & service you can think of is on the site to choose from. You get points for each $ spent. The best thing I’ve ever done with my points is go on two roadtrips from Indy to Las Vegas with my Hubby. We both saved up points from our accounts twice for Shell gas cards & several types of restaurant cards, making our treks almost totally “FREE”!! We frugally budgeted each time for everything & had a great time! So much in Vegas is “FREE” (Can you tell I love that word? LOL!) & inexpensive. So, please check out the site, you sure won’t regret it!!!!
Thanks again for coming! We enjoyed learning all your great tips; I’ve already put several to use, such as stacking coupons for Target and Meijer, and have already saved a bundle! Thanks for all the great info!
Lady Mauiindy, I have heard of My Points and have an account but am too lazy to use it. Isn’t that awful?! Just so busy that I usually delete the e-mails. But I will make mention of it sometime soon to let others know all about it. That’s awesome on the trip to Vegas and I love the word FREE too (especially when it’s all in capital letters). 🙂
Lady Bonnie you are most welcome! I was excited to share a little of my journey to help encourage others. If my mistakes can prevent someone from repeating them, then I’m more than happy share.
Isn’t stacking fun? Makes you feel like you’re sticking it to the man. 😉
