MEGA SWAG BUCKS Friday & Swagging Tips

HEY YOU!  It’s Friday which means one thing to this Swagging Girl.  It’s MEGA SWAG BUCKS DAY on the Swag Bucks Site.  A big Swag Buck Code just might be in your future or mine.

What is a Swag Buck, you may ask?

Swag Bucks are your reward for searching the internet.  When you use the Swag Bucks site, you have the chance to earn bucks for every search you make. You can also earn Swag Bucks by referring friends, recycling electronics, taking part in Special Offers, finding Swag Codes, Getting Swag Codes from Twitter, Facebook, the Swag Bucks Tool Bar, and the Swag Bucks Blogs AND shopping.  Nose around the site and you’ll get the knack of it, I promise.

Here are a few of the tips that I like to keep in mind when earning and cashing in Swag Bucks.

• Check the Swag Bucks Blog.  You can often find codes on the Swag Bucks Blog, Swag Bucks Facebook Fan Page, and Swag Bucks Twitter Page.  It’s a nice little extra boost to your account. 

• Recycle a Phone During April.  Have an old cell phone laying around that works or doesn’t?  Check out how you can collect extra Swag Bucks and clean out a drawer!

• Check the Value of Gift Cards.  You can get a $5 Amazon Gift Card for only 450 Swag Bucks.  A $25 one is 3150 Swag Bucks (a $50 is 5900).  It’s a much better deal (2250 Swag Bucks) to get 5 $5 Gift Cards than purchasing a high denomination.  You can only get 5 of the same prize/month so if you can, collect 5 $5 Amazon Gift Cards and bank the rest of your stash to use the next month.  

• Compare Prizes and Gift Cards.  I mentioned that I’m saving my Swag Bucks to get an iPod Touch.  Right now, I have about 17,500 Swag Bucks.  An 8 GB iPod Touch is over 49,000 Swag Bucks.  However, a $300 Apple gift card is only around 37,000 Swag Bucks.  And I can get the same iPod Touch for only $199 on Apple’s site.  Be a wise shopper even when it comes to free!  🙂
