Save Money & Slay Debt

Monday, er Tuesday Meal Plan

Tips like these helped us pay off $127K in debt. You can read our story in Slaying the Debt Dragon: How One Family Conquered Their Money Monster and Found an Inspired Happily Ever After.

June 8, 2010 By Cherie Lowe

Yet again, I’m a bit late at posting my weekly meal plan.  Yesterday, the Eldest Princess and I endeavored in a bit of a full castle overhaul (yet to be finished).  The good news is that her room is completely clean (we’re talking under the bed, clean linens, closet, desk, bookshelf – every inch).  We took out 3 bags of trash, packed up a tub of too small clothes, and she is set to start blogging again soon herself (no computer access until clean room law fulfilled).

Of course we ate at home last night but I just didn’t have time to post anything.  Here’s what we’re having on the Royal Table this week.

Monday:  Turkey Pepperoni Pizza on Whole Wheat Crust
                 with Red and Orange Peppers
                Apple Sauce

Tuesday: Grilled Shrimp Salad
with Grilled Peppers and Onions, Carrots, Cheese, Avocado, Cucumber
                Reduced Fat Triscuits
Mac and Cheese for the Princesses tonight and fresh cut veggies

Wednesday:  Grilled Chicken
                      Grilled Asparagus
                      Carrot Sticks
                      Toast/Olive Oil

Thursday:  Grilled Turkey Cheese Burgers
                  Grilled Sweet Potatoes
                  Grilled Sweet Corn
                  Apple Slices

Friday: Chinese Take-In (swapped in from last week)
Beef Peppercorn with Bok Choy and Carrots
            Oriental Veggie Mix
            Rice
The girls will have grilled cheese with veggies

Saturday:  Lunch: Picnic at PBS KIDS in the Park
PBJ, Veggies, Fresh Fruit, Water, String Cheese
                 Dinner: Leftovers

Sunday: Pulled Pork Sandwiches on Whole Wheat Thinwiches
              Cole Slaw
              Grilled Sweet Potatoes
              Strawberries/Blueberries

What are you planning on this week?  Don’t forget you have this handy dandy printable tool to help you organize your meals and grocery lists.
