I’m super-dee-duper excited to share some news with you about a new Money Saving Facebook and iPhone application guaranteed to make you SQUUEE especially if you live in North Carolina. Don’t stop reading if you don’t though because I have a job for you to make the rest of the nation SQUEE too.
I got an e-mail this AM from Lady Jennifer, a long time friend (she played the cello in our wedding!) and loyal royal reader. She works for a company called Money Mailer. I’m sure you’re familiar with their large red, white, and blue envelopes that come with coupony goodness on a regular basis. In her money savvy forward thinking, she suggested the company to keep sending you those great coupons in the envelope AND put them on a handy dandy app. It’s great for those of us who occasionally forget coupons at home (yep, it happens to even me!) or don’t realize we’ll need one before we leave the house.
Beginning in Raleigh, NC next Monday the apps will officially launch. The Facebook app is already whirring and the iPhone app is in the final stages of approval. Not only can you view the coupons available, you can redeem them in stores and restaurants, too without the paper coupons. AND I LOVE the fact that you can also use your phone’s GPS to find out where coupons are located based on your location, too. DOUBLE BONUS, Lady Jen tells me that it will be available on Droid and Blackberry phones soon as well. You know I’m much more of a Verizon girl even though I rock the iPod Touch. 🙂
