Regardless of your political leanings, it’s still a great week to be an American. If you’re a voter, active duty military, or a Veteran, you’re more than likely able to find something to celebrate, even if it’s just one of these Election and Veterans Day Freebies.
Election Day
For most freebies, you’ll need your “I Voted” Sticker. Be sure not to lose it!
7-Eleven: It’s not quite free but you can get a $1 coffee when using the 7-Eleven app with special 7-Election cups to show your political leanings.

Firehouse Subs: Wear your “I Voted” Sticker in to Firehouse Subs on November 8th and get a FREE medium drink. Lose your sticker? Don’t lose your cool. All you need to do is to download the Firehouse App to get a free drink.
Nestle Toll House Cafe: You might feel like you need a cookie after voting. Nestle Toll House has you covered with a free one when you wear your “I Voted” sticker on November 8th.
Noodles & Company: Vote for your favorite “Grown Up Mac & Cheese” and get a coupon good for B1G1 noodles.
Uber: Need a ride to the polls? First time Uber users get $20 off their first ride with the code VOTETODAY.
YMCA: Select YMCAs are offering free childcare so you can vote without having to pay a sitter. Check with your local branch via phone before planning to drop your kids off, though.

Veterans Day
For most of the freebies, you’ll need your military ID and/or proof of service. Unless otherwise stipulated, freebie only available on Friday, November 11, 2016. Click on the links for specific times and menus.
Events
Indianapolis Veterans Day Parade: A number of events and of course the Veterans Day parade will occur on Friday, November 11. You can find the full schedule here.
Local Schools: Many schools have programs to honor veterans where they would LOVE for you to attend. Ask your children or grandchildren if their school is participating in such a convocation.

Meineke: Free basic oil change with ID
Rack Room: Rack Room offers a 10% discount every Tuesday but also on Veterans Day to those with proper ID
Sports Clips: Free haircuts for active duty and veterans with proper ID at participating locations
