Oh Pinterest, you are becoming my new Google.  If I’m looking for a recipe or idea, I know that some creative pinner has already found it for me, categorized it, and placed their notes on how to make it even better.  *sigh* Pinterest is definitely one of my new favorite things for 2011.

On that note, I’ve been searching Pinterest for Frugal and Meaningful ways to celebrate Christmas.  You will find my “celebrate the season” board is already filling with plenty of ideas!  Each Thursday in December, I’ll share Three of my absolute favorites with you!

I’m not sure there’s a much better gift than cash {you know how we roll, Dave Ramsey says “Cash is king!”} even for kids.  Here’s a cute way to roll your pennies and quarters and give them away in a stocking or gift basket to your friends, either young or old.  I think it would be especially wonderful for a college student for laundry, vending machines, etc.  Thanks for the idea, Lady Martha Stewart {or one of the millions of elves that you employ after Santa laid them off or maybe one of your prison buddies, whatevs}.

Want to keep all of your ornaments safe and sound without spending a ton in the organization aisle at Target?  Just keep your egg crates {and maybe your neighbors’, too} from this month and come January, everything will pack away without worry or expense.  re-nest has 14 other repurposing, upcycling, and DIY ideas for storage too!
