Greetings Money Saving Lords and Ladies. If you’re an RSS or e-mail subscriber, you may be noticing some changes. Can I take a few minutes to explain why I changed my RSS feed? I pondered and struggled for the best path but because I often produce several posts in one day, the feed and emails can get long and tangly. Every year Feedburner (the current service I use) is rumored to be shutting down and I have a mild panic attack about losing each and everyone of you. There are over 2000 subscribers who daily receive money saving tips, freebies, debt slaying inspiration, and randomness from me. I am SO thankful that each and every one of you has signed up. I hope and pray you gain a little insight and maybe some laughter from my posts. There’s also the risk that my content can be stolen or “scraped” in its full form. I definitely don’t need a soap opera styled evil twin with a black crown running around out there.
So I’m making a huge leap and restructuring, using Mail Chimp. That might mean you’ll need to click the link to read the full article. However, I strongly feel like it will give you better content on a regular basis that will fuel your journey of paying off debt and saving money. In fact, I think so so much that I’m actually PAYING to use this service. I’m sure you know spending money is something that I don’t do willingly often. 🙂 But I want to better serve you and so that’s something I am willing to do.
If you receive e-mails, they will still come daily at approximately 5 PM. If you don’t you might want to sign up. Just look for the box in the upper right hand corner. In the coming months, I’ll be adding other special opportunities where you can get free downloads or daily inspiration from past series that will arrive at different times, all made possible because of this new service. I know that change isn’t always the easiest but I hope you realize I really want to be more effective at what I do – communicating hope for your finances – and I think this strategy will accomplish that.
Can I ask a favor of you? If you read something you love, will you share it will a friend? You are my very best publicist and as we gear up together to spread the word about Slaying the Debt Dragon, I’m going to need you now more than ever.
Thanks for sharing our journey and understanding!
