2022 Amazon Prime Days are almost here! And not only will there be crazy deals and sales on Amazon, many other online retailers will be turning up the heat, too. If you’re planning on shopping here’s what you need to do right now to prepare. PLUS, I’ll include some of my favorite 2022 Prime Days deals for you.
Check Out The Amazon Credit Offers
In preparation for Prime Days, Amazon has been running a number of promotions to put a little extra spending money in your account. Here are a few of the ways you can do that.
- Collect $10 in Amazon Credit when you fill a digital stamp card.
- Check out these ways to earn up $40 in Amazon credit to use on Prime Days. I’m personally not a fan of the Affirm Program. Pay things off ASAP if you choose to use it.
- Look over and clip Amazon Prime Coupons you might use.
- Get $5 in Amazon Credit when you purchase a ticket to see Lightyear. Get an additional $5 if you purchase Lightyear merch.
- Get $5 in Amazon Credit when you purchase a ticket to see Elvis.
- Let Alexa track deals for you.
Get Grubhub+ for FREE
Amazon has teamed up with Grubhub+ and you can score a year subscription for FREE right now. Get all of the details here. Note: this subscription will auto renew at $9.99/month if you don’t cancel it after the 12 month free offer.
Get 3 Months of Audible Premium Plus for FREE
You can also get 3 months of Audible Premium Plus for FREE if you qualify. After 3 months, you will be charged $14.95/month if you don’t cancel. With all free trials, it’s smart to see if you can cancel immediately. If you can’t be sure to set a reminder in your calendar app or on your phone to cancel it before a charge goes through. Small mistakes like these can add up to major budget busters!
Get 4 Months of Amazon Music Unlimited for FREE
If you’ve never tried it before, you can get four months of Amazon Music unlimited for FREE. Again this free trial will need to be canceled before you get an $8.99 autocharge on your account.
Watch Other Sites
Amazon isn’t the only site with deals on July 12-13. I’ve already seen a host of retailers emailing me with their own sale holiday, too. In particular, watch Target Deal Days and any other website you regularly shop. Today is the day to put items in your cart you’re interested in and then see if the prices drop once the sales begin.
Don’t Buy on Credit
Here’s my major word of warning to the bargain seekers everywhere. A deal isn’t a deal if you can’t pay for it. Especially right now, you need to be watching your personal finances more than ever because the cost of living is on the rise. Buying on credit now may mean you end up paying 2-3 times more for whatever you’re buying because paying it off will mean paying for that interest, too.
My Favorite Deals and Brands to Watch
Be sure to follow my Facebook Group The Queen of Free’s Favorite Bargains and I’ll update things there as things unfold. But here are sales that never seem to fail to show up on Prime Days.
- Any Amazon Tech: Echo, Echo Dot, Kindles, Firestick, Halo, etc. These are always at their lowest price of the year.
- Ring technology (I’m watching this) will be 40% off.
- TVs – I’m seeing leaked deals of 50” Fire Stick TVs as low as $99.99 which is CRAZY (not on sale yet).
- Kitchen Brands like Keurig, Shark, Ninja, Roomba, Vitamix up to 50% Off
- Toy Brands like American Girl, Lego, Barbie, Hot Wheels, & Crayola 30-40% off.
- Back to School and Dorm Essentials
- Amazon Basic Deals on Household goods, pet supplies, personal care, and more
Let’s get ready to bargain, friends! I can’t wait to share my favorite deals with you.
