Amazon Prime Days are back! You can expect some of the lowest prices of the year on Amazon products, lightning deals, and other great promotions again this year on June 21st and June 22nd. But how do you sort out what’s a deal and what you should skip? And which deals save you the most money? I’m here to help you sort out how you should prepare for Amazon Prime Days 2021.
You Need Prime to Shop
The deals are only for those who have an Amazon Prime Membership. If you’re looking to join up, consider a 30 Day Free Trial. The annual expense clocks in at around $119. It includes benefits like two day shipping, Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, Photo Storage, access to special deals and sales, and more. Amazon recently began offering a $5.99 Monthly Prime Membership for those who qualify for government assistance, too. There’s also a special Amazon Family Prime Membership and Prime Student for College Students.
Get 21 FREE Photos
Let’s begin with the fun deals! And by fun, I mean FREE. This year, you can get 21 4×5.3 or 4×6 Photo Prints on Prime Days. Simply upload your photos and use the code PRINTS21 when you check out for free pictures shipped straight to you.
Get Grocery Deals
Prime Days aren’t just about great electronic deals. You can actually score deals on groceries that are delivered to your door on the same day. When I Iast checked, I saw 52 oz. Chobani Oatmilk for $1 and a box of 18 Quaker granola bars for $1, too. These deals will change but expect great savings on practical items.
Save on Amazon Brands
Amazon is continually adding new brands and lines of products. From vitamins to snacks to healthcare products, household goods, and beyond, you’ll find a lot of quality items. Plus, on Prime Days Amazon Brands will be discounted even deeper.
Get Amazon Tech at the Lowest Price
If you’re in the market for an Echo, a FireTV, a Halo, a Ring, or Luna gaming accessories, now is your time to buy. Amazon always drops their tech products to their lowest prices on Prime Days. Some of my favorite deals include:
- INSIGNIA NS-70DF710NA21 70-inch Smart 4K UHD – FireTV $529.99
- Amazon Smart Plug for 40% Off
- $50 Off 4th Generation Amazon Echo Dot 2
Save Up to 50% On Subscription Boxes
Amazon has plenty of fantastic subscription box offerings. And there will be plenty of great opportunities to try them out at half price. Go here to see what’s offered. Some start at less than $5 so it’s worth checking out. Just be sure to cancel the subscription so you’re not auto charged at a higher rate the next month.
Prime Day Video Deals
Amazon is also offering plenty of great video streaming channels for $0.99 per month for 2 months. Choose from Starz, Paramount+, Showtime, AMC+, noggin, and more. Once again, you’ll want to cancel the subscription before it auto charges you after the special pricing expires. There are plenty of great streaming movie deals, too!
Add Amazon Assistant for a FREE $10 Amazon Credit
If you install the Amazon Assistant extension on your web browser, you’ll not only get quick access to Amazon but also $10 to spend on Amazon. After installing, you’ll need to visit 5 times within 14 days. You won’t have your $10 by Prime Days, but it’s still a nice perk!
Save $10 When You Buy From a Small Business
Between now and June 20th, when you spend $10 at a small business on Amazon, you’ll have a $10 credit applied to your account for Amazon Prime Days. I actually did this accidentally this week. Check out the details here.
I’ll be sharing my favorite deals throughout the day(s) on my Facebook group The Queen of Free’s Favorite Bargains. I’d also love to know what you’re looking for this year and the deals you find!
