I believe I *may* have mentioned it before but I’m a BIG fan of the Amazon Subscribe & Save Program. There are several reasons. Among them:
- I don’t have to go to the physical store. Staying out of the store keeps me from making unnecessary purchases.
- Most of the time, a well crafted deal comes in under what I’d pay in the store.
- I can use gift cards I earn from Swagbucks & other rewards programs to pay for the items.
- Did I mention I don’t have to go to the store? On a day like today, that’s awesome!
But it dawned on me that you might wonder what sorts of items I purchase. Typically, it’s things like toilet paper, paper towels, cleaners, and personal care items like toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, etc. I usually order at least 5 different items (this bumps your Subscribe & Save Discount from 5% to 15%). When the items ship, I’ll cancel the subscription. The prices are not locked in from month to month and I wouldn’t want something to ship automatically without me seeing the deal and making sure it was royally worthy. Here’s what I ordered for the month of January and the deals that I scored:
Disney Princess Multi Vitamin Gummies, 180-Count currently priced at $9.78 for a one-time delivery but $8.31 with the 15% Subscribe & Save Discount you get when ordering 5 items or more (until you order 5 items, it will reflect a 5% discount which would be ~$9.29. After you order 5 items, all of your items will drop the 15% in price). There’s a 20% Off Coupon which drops the overall price further down to $6.65
Kleenex Ultra Facial Tissue (8 Boxes) currently priced at $15.09 for a one time delivery ($1.89/box) but $12.83 ($1.61/box) with the 15% Subscribe & Save Discount you get when ordering 5 items or more (until you order 5 items, it will reflect a 5% discount which would be ~$14.34. After you order 5 items, all of your items will drop the 15% in price). There’s a $1.50/1 coupon which drops the price further down to $11.33 ($1.42/box).
Sparkle Paper Towels, 24 Giant Rolls, Pick-A-Size, White currently priced at $23.91 (~$1/roll) for a one-time delivery but $20.32 (~$0.85/roll) with the 15% Subscribe & Save Discount you get when ordering 5 items or more (until you order 5 items, it will reflect a 5% discount which would be ~$22.71. After you order 5 items, all of your items will drop the 15% in price). There was a $2/1 Coupon (I can’t find the direct link today but I’m hoping it’s just “disappeared” since I’ve already used it. Look for fine print directly under the price to “clip”) which drops the price further to $18.32 or $0.76/roll.
Mitchum Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant, Power Gel, Unscented, 3.4-Ounce Stick (Pack of 4) currently priced at $15.76 for a one-time delivery but $13.40 with the 15% Subscribe & Save Discount you get when ordering 5 items or more (until you order 5 items, it will reflect a 5% discount which would be ~$14.97. After you order 5 items, all of your items will drop the 15% in price). At a price around $3.35/stick of deodorant, this an average deal ($3.75 is right around what they run regular price in store without coupons). However, since I had a gift card to pay for it, it makes it a little more palatable.
Quilted Northern Ultra Soft and Strong Bath Tissue, 48 Double Rolls currently priced at $23.94 ($0.50/double roll) for a one-time delivery but $20.35 ($0.42/double roll) with the 15% Subscribe & Save Discount you get when ordering 5 items or more (until you order 5 items, it will reflect a 5% discount which would be ~$22.74. After you order 5 items, all of your items will drop the 15% in price). There is a $2/1 Coupon (look directly beneath the red price to clip it) which drops the price further to $18.35 ($0.38/double roll).
Again, prices and coupons appear and disappear from Amazon’s pages frequently so if you do a little investigation of your own, you might find a great deal on a product you use regularly in your household. My apologies if you can’t get the exact prices I got on these items yourself.

A few final notes about Subscribe & Save:
- Amazon has recently changed their Subscribe & Save Program so all of your items ship on 1 select day/month (ours is January 31st this month.
- As always, once your item(s) ship, be sure to cancel your subscription so that they do not automatically ship the next month (prices are NOT locked in at the same rate).
- The 15% Discount does NOT apply to diapers or wipes.
- Indiana has recently instituted sales on tax on Amazon purchases which moves the price up a bit; however, you’d be paying sales tax on most of these items in store, too.
